In the spirit of sankofa (read more about the concept here), which means “go back and get it” or “return and retrieve it,” this space is dedicated to deriving meaning from the world and its happenings, my happenings. I’m a (over)thinker who keeps the lionshare of my thoughts to myself. I’m a Hip Hop artist and lyricist/poet who takes pride in my pen, but usually leaves it up to the listener to connect the dots. Thus, we gather here to answer the whats and whys, to unpack, to go back and retrieve the lessons.
